image When the California Academy of Science reopens in Sept. 27, 2008 in San Francisco. It will be the greenest museum in the world with its $488 million undertaking, employing discarded blue jeans for insulation and scores of windows for natural light, etc…

An architectural eco-wonder, it’s designed to sustain and inspire guests by mixing existing exhibits with climate-change demonstrations inside a space that also nudges visitors to think hard about conservation.
